Do you think it is safe to take some homeopathic meds while breastfeeding?


how about co Q-10?

I don't know of any evidence to show that homeopathic medicines are safe while Bf, but equally I don't know of anything to the contrary. However, I have been told by a homeopathic practitioner that they are safe to a Bf baby because of the small amounts in question.
I am very interested in responses to your question.

Dr Hale (in Medications and Mother's Milk 2008) categorises it as L3 - moderately safe. He recommends "caution" if using. Let me know if you'd like more information from the book.
