did any of you have a doppler type thing that you used in home to check the baby's heartbeat? What did you usse?

Due to having had a missed miscarriage that was not caught until fairly late-in-the-game (second trimester) i bought a doppler like this one

it was a little cheaper than that (maybe 70 bucks, not 80)

but was so very very worth it for piece of mind, helping my children to bond with baby and helping DH bond with baby (he could not make it to most of my appointments)

I have one just like Maeryn's too, and has helped a lot with peace of mind after my losses. I tried it starting at 11w2d and was able to hear the heartbeat (although it took a little patience).

What about a fetoscope? I was able to pick up the heartbeat with no problem at all at 24 weeks when I got it. I bought it at Midwifery Supplies Canada for $42. I really like it. She also has dopplers on the website but I can't vouch for those.
