Disappearing banner beneath banner ad?

For the last couple of months (I keep forgetting to ask!), about half the times a page loads (maybe even more), the big green banner that says mothering at the top of the page, under the banner ad, is missing. This wouldn't be a big deal, except that the blue bar that's usually underneath it goes missing, too - the one that says "User CP," "Mothering," "User Agreement," etc - and most importantly, "New Posts" and "Search." It doesn't matter what page of MDC I'm on, but it might correspond to certain banner ads (I'm not positive, but I can keep track if it helps you). I'm using Internet Explorer.

Which version of windows do you have? Windows seven?

I have Vista.

It seems like it's only the various incarnations of the Cafe Mom banners.

In addition to the cafe mom ads, I've noticed a Coca-cola ad is causing the same issue.

Yes, it looks like it is a variety of ads. I did spend a bit hitting refresh and taking screen shots.
