one book to rule them all..

(sorry, had LOTR on the mind )

If you had a friend who was very scientifically minded, and who seems to be questioning vaxxing, which resource would you refer her to?

I mentioned this forum but she seems unwilling to wade through the whole forum and wants a book with plenty references. Is the Tenpenny book best for that?

Nothing useful to add but I'm watching LOTR Fellowship *right now*. "Long have I desired to look upon the book of vaccine information."

Thank you! I've forwarded a link to this thread and the resources page and we'll see where it goes!

Ideally the most scientifically minded person wouldn't be too lazy to look at primary resources on her own, too. I found those on the CDC website about the actual diseases to be extremely helpful in understanding what goals the vaccine programs are supposed to manage.

My husband, a microbiologist, employed in the pharma research field, and a lazy reader, wanted to vax our baby 7 years ago. I gave him a list of reading material but the one he liked was Randall Neustadter's The Vaccine Guide because it outlined risk vs. benefit for each and every vaccine/disease. Today he is completely anti-vax and more vocal about it than I would ever be.
