most absorbant material out there?

I'm pretty out of the loop. Started CDing again a month ago, but was hoping to do EC.. it's not turning out how I'd hoped

anyways, I have 3 dozen flats, but they just don't cut it for absorbency. My boy is a super-soaker, and pees ALL the TIME. I'd like to get some new flats (because they dry quicker in the dryer) that can last awhile longer than the cotton birdeye fabric I'm using currently. I think my boy will be soaking one of these totally, in one pee, by the time he's 4 months.

bamboo? hemp? velour? what's the best for heavy wetters?

I've got hemp jersey flats - I like them, they're more absorbent than cotton birdseye (not tons though, or anything). I think using one of the hemp with a cotton flat laid on top would do pretty well.

The best stuff I've found for heavy wetters, though, are cotton/hemp doublers (I've particularly liked the hemp baby little weeds ones) so adding something like that to your flats might do you some good. The idea of cotton velour in a flat, too, sounds pretty fab and absorbent too (velour doubler might work out well too).
