Flood peeing

Is flood peeing a sign of allergic reaction? DD, EBF, flood pees anytime I have any soy.

Pee stuff is definitely intolerance related for us - except my dd has the opposite problem with soy - she pees a little bit very frequently (and gets a rash on her vulva and torso).

Yep! My DS did that and I didn't realize it was an allergy so the poor kid was tested for UTI, Diabetes, Kidney Infection, etc then the doctor said it was behavioral! Cut out soy and everything went back to normal! (he was 2.5)

My DS did this too, I don't know what the culprit was but he would pee for England - I couldn't believe how much water his little bod could produce! xxx

What is flood peeing? I've never heard of that.
DD2 would drink and pee a ton (upwards of 160 oz. in 24 hours when she was only a year old), and was tested twice for diabetes. But when we got her food triggers out, it stopped.
My DS wets the bed if he has some of his triggers (milk, potatoes). Other foods cause other symptoms for him.

It could be, I guess. None of my allergic kids had that reaction, but some kids pee a lot. Some kids have problems. I would definitely weed out any diseases/infections while working on the allergens. Just a check up.

Yes, is a sign of food intolerance in this house too... sign of overloading on salicylates and very predictable.

Both The Feingold Diet and FAILSAFE diet mention as a sign.

DS1 had/has excessive urination as a symptom of his dairy allergy (as well as bedwetting).

Frequent and excessive urination that comes without warning (daytime and nighttime) is a general intolerance reaction for my 2 year old DS. It happens with many different foods.

Same here. The whole family went on Feingold for ds & dh's ADD/ADHD and suddenly MY peeing problems disappeared... after going so far as to have been bullied into a cystoscopy to rule out bladder cancer. I seriously couldn't make a 20-minute car ride coming home from my Italian inlaws house (read: LOTS of high salicylate foods).

And we're not even done with the first month...

Awesome! Yes, my interstitial cystitis was tied to salicylate intolerance too. I keep meaning to develop an information website about this. I think it's a primary cause.

Been supplementing lots of nutrients and I can tolerate all salicylates pretty much just fine (just not like tea, berries, cinnamon and wine all in same day).
