How to tell Dh? Any creative ideas?

So I just got my first positive at 11dpo yesterday. Another one today. I'm looking for creative ways to tell Dh. This is my 6th pregnancy, 3rd child. So we're always a little wary. But I'd like to do something kind of fun. Anyone have any ideas?

If you are due around April 24th (Easter of next year) and you celebrate Easter... figure out a way to give him an Easter present. Boiling an egg and painting it with something like ITS A BABY! on it... or a baby bottle... or something of that sort.

My favorite idea from last year that I am not sure anyone used would be to toss the egg to him and say... Yeah hun, thats not the ONLY egg you caught!

If you are due closer to the beginning of April or if you figure you will go that early... you could tell him you have a really good April Fools Day joke for him... and then tell him you are NOT pregnant... and see if he catches on that that means you are...


A few non-Due-date-themed ones -
Get or make your youngest an Im the Big Sister shirt and your oldest an Im the Biggest Sister shirt (or Im the Middle and Im the Big... or whatever)
Put a bun in the oven... literally... and when he comes home tell him you have something in the oven and ask if he will check on it.

One of my friends set an extra plate at the table and put the +hpt on the plate.
Enjoy being creative! I wish I could have done something fun but my DH almost always knew it before me. I'd say "my back hurts" and he'd respond "you're pregnant". No way - yeah - now I'm 32 weeks... :-)

You could put the youngest in a "Big Brother/Sister" shirt.
