August Past Due Date Club - Page 2

Had a massage followed by an acupuncture session yesterday. All signs seem to be pointing toward the next couple of days, I think. Finally seeing colostrum instead of clear discharge. Wearing "tacks" in my ears to keep some points stimulated. A friend suggested a shot of tequila would do the trick. At this point, I'm not sure I'm against it! LOL

I'm actually becoming more zen about it all each day I go over. I'm not as anxious or up in arms about waiting. I don't know why. Although, I too am seriously considering just having a drink to relax. My body is crampy and achey. I keep hoping it's not all in vain. Dh wants baby to come tomorrow so he can have a full 2 weeks off from work. My mom wants the baby to come the next day since it'll be her birthday. I just want the baby to come out! I don't care when.

I'm joining. My previous two were due date babies. I'm amazed that I'm still pregnant. I've been having contractions for weeks including really painful ones all night long.

So sick of being pregnant.

due date was yesterday- my first so i'm thinking a few more days-

hard to figure out what to do with myself though that's for sure! and def getting fed up with all the 'are you in labor calls' - very sweet but come on!!

here's hoping for the full moon on tuesday...

that way if i have a girl i can name her Maribel Moon...that's my fav name at the moment.

I am 41+1 weeks today and I give up....I will just get a massage and relax as best as I can. Hard when my kids drive me crazy lol
I will just wait till my midwife starts to naturally induced on the 25th when I am 41+5 weeks. In Alaska if you go past 42 weeks you have to have your baby in the hospital and I was so looking forward to my 2nd time home waterbirth.

Oh joy, I get to join this club now! Yesterday was my edd and it didn't bother me too much. Today, it's bugging me. I've never even made it to the due date and there's so little going on. Everything that *is* going on points to birth in the next month or so. Big news there! I need something to seriously distract me today!

Okay, never made it to my due date before which is tomorrow the 23rd. Just made some oregano, parsley, basil pesto! Yummy. I am hoping that works otherwise I have to be induced on the 24th. Has anyone tried chiropractor, acupressure, or have any other ideas? Been taking raspberry leaf tea and primrose for practically my whole pregnancy.

due date was yesterday... and as of now we missed being a Leo... sooooo trying to relax and wait... just feel stupid cuz contractions were all over the place yesterday evening, everyone was like tonight?(!!) and I was dumb enough to be like 'wow, I will actually do this tonight! -"on time!" so.. now I'm sitting here bumming. husband says it'll come when it comes, but no-one is looking at him saying "so, any contractions??" Think I'll keep my big mouth shut until I get the ones that make you want to re-consitter labor all together, or until I feel a head coming out.

I haven't gone past my due date since four children ago. I'm hoping baby arrives before Christmas.

My blood pressure has crept up into a not-good zone, so I'm going to get checked out today.

well i'm not quite past my due date yet, not for another day, but all the threads in our ddc are birth announcements. so i'm here to commiserate with other still pregnant moms.

for the past week i haven't thought about when will the baby come, except in a not yet! way because i had the flu. i did not want to go into labor while dealing with that too. i'm feeling much better today, and i find myself wondering when is baby gonna come, let's go walk, etc. so i MUST be feeling better. tomorrow i have a dr's appt. i haven't had any internal exams so far, but i'm real tempted to have one tomorrow to see if anythings happening yet. my fear is that i wont' be dilated at all. but atleast it might help me calm down and get some stuff done since the baby probably isn't coming in the next couple days. my inlaws are coming this weekend, if i've had the baby then my MIL can clean the house, but if i haven't then i'd like to clean it up before they get here.
