Hemorrhoid excised before birth

Has anyone had this happen? I'm about 36 weeks along and I had a horribly thrombosed hemorrhoid excised yesterday. To be clear, they didn't remove the hemorrhoid, they simply lanced it and took out the clot inside.

It's feeling better but boy is my bottom sore still!! I'm doing sitz baths, witch hazel and all those home remedies still too.

I'm expecting I'll give birth sometime between 40-42 weeks, like with my other three children.

Anyone with experience? Was it aweful for the birth? Did it heal right with all that baby weight sitting on top of the site?

I had this done with number 4. OMGosh, it hurt so badly after that I really questioned whether it had been worth it to have it lanced! But it did heal up by the birth (which brought it's own little crop of rhoids, but at least the old one was taken care of!)
