Headache after glucose challenge 1-hour test

I took the test this morning, and I have a wicked headache that Tylenol won't touch. I haven't had anything to eat since my sausage and eggs breakfast right before-- my tummy has been weird since the test as well. Anyway, normal? something to be concerned about?

BTW, not only would they not let me go out to the car to get my book (which I purposely left there so I could have a little walk), they also tried to convince me to lay down and have a little nap! I pretended I was going to the bathroom and went and got my book anyway.

That's weird they wanted you to lay down. Usually they want you to sit and actually if you try to lay down, they'll tell you to sit up.

I think you need to eat. I felt nauseous and headachey for the entire day after my test. I think that's normal.

I had a huge piece of homemade lasagna and am feeling much better, albeit heartburnish. The resting part was bizarre. She was all "But look! We have a blanket!"

ugg so sorry, glad you make it thru. yeah the napping part is strange, i have always been told in my past (pre pregnancy GTT tests) that i had to remain awake

i slept through most of my last 3 hour test (last pregnancy) which is pry why one of my numbers failed.

I felt awful after my 1-hour test with DS. I nearly passed out and felt dizzy, headachy, and mildly nauseous the rest of the day I would recommend eating something protein-heavy and drinking lots of water. Hope you feel better!
