Can I make ahead/freeze granola?

I was thinking of making some to have on hand after the babies came, but wasn't sure if I could freeze it.

Does granola go bad quickly? (maybe homemade does - I've only bought it.)

I don't see why you couldn't freeze it - but I think you'd have to spread it out on a cookie sheet so it doesn't all stick together.

I don't see why not. I think it is a great idea!

I don't see why not, but I'm also not sure why you'd need to... I'd just make a bunch up and store in air tight containers (mason jars for instance). Its always kept fine for a few weeks for me...

I made up a bunch while I was pregnant and put it in ziplocks in the fridge. I made it about a month maybe two before I was due and it kept fine and was so delicious I only regret not making more since it is now all gone. I would recommend not adding any dried fruits until you are ready to eat it as they might get really hard in the fridge.

Mine keeps fine for at least 2-3 weeks in glass jars in the cabinet. I haven't tried freezing it. I wonder if the texture would be ok, but maybe if there were an issue, a few minutes in the oven would crisp it up?
