newborn screening question

Just wondering if/when and in what time frame the homebirth mamas had the newborn screening blood tests done.

my mw did it at my 1 week pp visit.. i think it was really like 10 days pp though. i think 1-2 weeks is appropriate- you dont want to do it too soon or it wont be accurate!

My midwife did it at the 5 day PP visit. She said the baby should have 24 hours of breastmilk to get an accurate test.

Mine was at the 1 week pp appointment, though I'm not positive it was exactly one week. Maybe closer to 2 weeks?

At 10 days.
I think that it had to be done within 10 days here.

Same here. We wait until the baby is passing breastfed poop and then she would come back and do the PKU.
