Af around the corner, or possibly pg???

During the past 6 months my cycles have been 26-29 days long. I didn't temp so I really don't know when I ovulate. Right now I'm on cd 26. On cd 16 I took an ov test, which was positive, but it was the only one I took. On cd 17 I had ovulatory pain. We dtd in the middle of night (actually very early in the morning of cd17). Also on cd8, 12, 13, and 15. Yesterday, which I think was 8dpo I had slightly blood tinged cm. Now today I have watery cm that is yellowish. My period usually starts off very light for 2-4 days. This might be the beginning if that, but i'm not sure. I was super-emotional yesterday, which is unusual. Normally I get somewhat moody and irritable before my period but I don't usually cry like yesterday, although I have been irritable as well. I feel really dumb even posting this, but does it sound like af is coming? Should I take a hpt? Today is 9 dpo, cd 26. I know I should just wait to see if af is in fact coming, and if not, test on 11 dpo. What do you think?

8dpo spotting could be a good sign of implantation, but it could've been related to anything else (like irritated cervix as well). If you are 9dpo then it could be too early for a positive hpt. I usually get a bunch of watery or EWCM a few days before AF. And the emotional could also be PMS. It is unfortunate that Mother Nature is so cruel that most early pg signs are also pre-AF signs!
It is mostly a wait and see thing. Your timing looks good if you O'd on cd17, so I hope you get your BFP!

Af around the corner or possibly preg??? UPDATE

Thank you for reading and replying! I feel so silly asking these questions, because I know I just need to be patient. I'm not good at not knowing what's going on in my body and it helps to share with other women going through it too. I have a feeling that I'm having PMS, not implantation/early pregnancy, but I really just need to wait and see.

So, this morning I took a FRER. I am 10dpo, cd 27. I got my BFP!!
Here's to hoping it's sticky!!!!! I'll take another in a few days and then I'll call my dr for a blood test. Then I guess I'll have to start looking for a midwife if the test comes back ok.
