I accepted a pair of twins at my small, new, home day care along with my own son and another little girl. One of the twins (the girl) is very high strung and hits, pinches, shoves, and bites multiple times a day. She is also more demanding in other ways such as screaming and throwing tantrums frequently, not letting other kids have turns, throwing toys and using them violently, etc. Usually she targets her twin brother, who sometimes copies her behavior. I am afraid that she will negatively influence the quality of care for the other kids and I am concerned about the liability issues with her violence. The easy option would obviously be to tell her parents I can't keep her, but I don't want to resort to that because she is truly a sweet and loving child at moments. What should I do?
