I'm having some hormone testing done due to problems conceiving and miscarrying. I'm not sure what tests will be done (I know something on day 3 and then a whole progesterone workup every other day after ovulation is detected to have a better idea of the changes in progesterone levels during the luteal phase). Is it advised to not ttc during the month that all of these tests are being done? My concern is that if I were to get pregnant and later miscarry, would the results from the blood tests be informative or does a pregnancy alter the hormones they are testing for? Not sure if that makes sense.....
