bladder infection in a 2 yr old??

I have a two year old daughter. The last couple of diaper changes have had some pinkish discharge or maybe it's in her urine. She is happy as can be and showing no other signs of a bladder infection......any thoughts? Could it be discharge? UTI?? Should I take her to the ER or see if other symptoms come on?? Any home remedies? Help!

I really think you should bring her to her doctor (ER if she start showing sings of pain). It may just a simple infection but it could be something else, why take the chances. I hope your doctor can take you right away, make sure to change her diapers often and bring one with the discharge in case the doctor need to see it.
Good luck

If you go to your doctors office they will give you a container to catch the pee in. They will call back with the results and an appointment if something shows up. The lining of the bladder is very sensitive and will bleed easily when irritated by an infection.

My DD had one a few months ago but I chose to do ABX because there was no way I could get her to drink enough water to go with all the natural remedies for bladder infection. My DD also had a random fever and she said her pee hurt.
