Taraknyc

You are doing home insemination because you are going to be away from your partner during ovulation? or some other reason? sorry if I missed an important element of your story.

Thanks for the new thread!

So, I'm 4DPO. Do I have any cycle buddies out there?

thanks for new thread!

babycakes- it could cd 19 but your cm doesnt match up does it. it could be where they have it now, or even cd14. have you tried opks? or checking cp? sometimes it's that one extra corroborating element that makes it clear. do you know you can ask the ff guides for their input? i have done that and they are extremely helpful. it's the vip forum. and i wouldnt worry about whether things are perfect one cycle or wacky, it hasnt been my experience anyway that it matters, it happens when it happens, so you've got your bd bases covered, any of those dates your chances are probably as good as ever even if things dont feel just right.

Thanks for this!!

I dont do OPKs, b/c we're really just "not preventing/not trying" -- but we all know that when you're charting it's hard not to try. Especially when you really want a baby. Nevertheless, after CD15 my cervix was low, firm and as closed as it ever is. It's always about a fingertip open.
Looking through my notes, I saw that most of the day on CD15 was creamy with just a scant bit of EW so I took out the EW and FF moved my CH's back to CD14. But it's just software. Whatever happened happened and I just need to find my zen place and go there. LOL!

I'm so crampy too, and was thinking that vivid dreams are a pg thing for me, so maybe it's something. Crampy like I keep feeling like AF is here, but then I check and it's nothing.

Oh - and I seem to be missing from the list. Can I be added in waiting to know?

OMG, I had a GIANT temp jump this morning! Praying that it is not a fluke!!!

CD4 here.

About 4 women in the community have had their babies. I keep having people come up to me and say, "So and So had their baby!" Then I feel this twinge in my heart and feel sad that I cant be one of them. I am so over TTC. I keep trying to tell myself, at least I can drink at so and sos wedding, or if I am not pregnant in the winter I can snowboard, etc. Its not working. lol.

id put ov at early on CD18. as in, early in the morning so by the time you checked CM youd already ovulated but the temp didnt jump yet. im basing this on your CM and temp jump and leaving room for error on the open circle days.

FF is crazy.

id say you haven't ovulated yet. you can have fertile CM for your whole pre ov phase. (ask Sweet.bee )

i regularly ov around CD 17-18. good luck to you!

Thanks for the new thread!

I'm crampy today (which for me pretty much happens clear from O to AF) and my OPK is lightening up, but no temp jump yet, so I'm thinking I probably ovulated this morning. for a good solid temp rise tomorrow (or at least on its way up, sometimes I have a slower rise). I will be so excited just for ovulating even if I don't get pregnant this cycle.

Ooo! Me! Me! I'm 4 dpo too.

Silverbird, I don't think you've O'd yet. Maybe soon!

Cherrie, it looks like you have O'd but I can't really tell for sure when from your chart.

Ugh. All around not good news over here.

First of all, AF has arrived with a vengence.

I posted in my last thread that my DD had come down with strep throat last Thursday. Yesterday she developed an itchy rash and I thought she was having a reaction to the antibiotics. She was up most of the night last night because couldn't settle due to the itchiness. I took her in to the clinic this morning.

Chicken Pox!!

Seriously? The kid gets strep throat and chicken pox in the same week? Poor girl.

So now I have had to close my daycare for the week, which really sucks because we need the income.

But here is the real kicker. I've never had CP either, and don't have any titres for it either. All of a sudden I am thankful that we didn't end up with a BFP last cycle. God works in mysterious ways some times.

Now I am hoping that if I am going to get it, I break out in pox today or tomorrow, meaning I was exposed at the same time as DD (I have no idea where she got it). Otherwise the incubation period is 2 to 3 weeks if I get it from her - and that would be another week off of work with no pay. And unless I do get it in the next couple of days we will be TTA this cycle instead of TTC just in case I do catch it from DD.

Unnnnngggghhhhhhh.

And then..... if we do TTA this cycle, I am not sure what we are going to do about TTCing right now. I recently thought about going back to school next year, and am in the very early stages of applying to a PhD program. If I got pregnant right away the baby would be 4 or 5 months old by the time I started my classes next September, which wouldn't be ideal but could be workable. But starting classes with a much younger babe or even pregnant just isn't going to work. So now I have no idea. We have lots to think about.

So.. if you have read through all of this, thanks. It has been a rough weekend, and I am operating on very little sleep.

And reluctantly, I need to be moved to waiting to be ready as we are on hold for now. Thanks!

oh goodness, lily. when it rains it pours. that's quite a situation. im sorry you are dealing with all that. ((hug))
Yea, sorry to hear life has been so crazy for you Lilly!

I understand the timing issue myself. I am in nursing school, so we are only going to be TTC for two months, which would allow me to have the baby in the middle of my 4 month break next semester. If it doesn't happen in those two months, I'll logistically have to wait maybe another two years! I don't know what I'll do if I don't get a BFP, but I guess I'll just have to make the best go over those two months...
