The Fabulous ONE Thread-August 15-21 - Page 6

Hugs to Karmab. I hope it works out for the best.

Nothing has changed for me. Still waiting to O, heck I am still waiting for AF to be completely gone. I hate having a 7 day period.

Sweet did come through, so I'm feeling a little less desperate. Though, I will still feel better if I can hunt another donor down for tonight. Sweet's donations are always sorta... shallow. And, he was nervous today, so I'm not even sure how much I got, if any. I did put in an Instead Cup to hold whatever I may have gotten.

Solid crosshairs, baby! Please move me to Waiting to Know. I'm 3 DPO after FINALLY ovulating on CD 45. Do I have any cycle buddies?

Praying for you karmab. I hope everything turns out okay.

motray36, regarding cranberry juice, I think some people on here were talking about it. I'm not sure whether it's on the "official" list for increasing CM. All I can tell you is I had hardly any EWCM other cycles, and then lots of it this one. I drank 0.5 to 1 liter of it per day and lots of water.

littlest birds, yay for a new cycle buddy! And maybe you'll find out before me, as I'm a late tester.

Lydiah, I also get kind of long periods, though they used to be worse. I even had spotting until like CD11 a few cycles ago.

Stevi, good luck!

So, my chart looks really lame. Ever since 2DPO, it's been dropping a bit each morning. I guess it doesn't mean anything, but it looks like a downward slope. My LP is usually 12-13 days, and I've never seen this before. Maybe I should have stopped temping after O.

Woo-hoo! Congrats.

I think closer to expected AF, a downward trend like that can mean you are not pregnant, but at 8 dpo, I really don't think it means anything. Of course the cycle you get pregnant you're not going to have a pretty triphasic chart isn't that the way it works?

Pregnancy Test Experiment - 8 dpo

I decided to go the freezer route since it's way easier and nobody else expressed a preference. Theoretically the first ice crystals that form should be pure water, leaving a higher concentration of HCG in the remaining liquid. I tested my FMU today and then put it in the freezer - had to be longer today because I guess I had more pee (didn't measure the volume today), so it was in there about 55 minutes but was about the same level of frozen-ness as yesterday. There was nothing on either test. Just thought I'd give an update!

It looks like ovulation is today, though I'm still hoping it holds off until tomorrow.

I have Specs scheduled for 7am, but he has a recent history of no-shows, so I hope I didn't get up early for nothing.

Barefootscientist... I'm getting a kick out of your experiments!

Everybody have a Fertile Day!

I'm dreading the possible arrival of AF today I've got all my normal signs that it'll happen. I'm still hoping that she'll pull a no show! But I'm also somewhat resigned.

If AF arrives, I'm planning to start taking soy isos this cycle and also get a BBT and start charting temps. I've been assuming that I ovulate on a 'normal' schedule because usually, my cycle is 28 days exactly and feels very consistent. But stress has been causing some havoc in my life and my body so I think it's time to find out how things are really working in there.

Thankfully, I'm expecting a drop in stress this weekend and forward from here (my parents are coming to visit and that always relieves a lot of my stress!). I just need to make sure that family being around doesn't dampen DH's drive to BD!

At 11 dpo, my temp. is down again (though still above coverline) and I've gotten another BFN. My LP is usually 12-13 days long so I'm not testing again until Sunday if I even get that far. I really thought this was the cycle... and now I think I'm onto cycle #6. Sorry, I'm just feeling kind of down this morning.

I really hope my cycle buddies are doing better than I am! Anyone have GOOD news?

11 dpo

mommymatsumoto- I hope your temp goes way up tomorrow! And that you get a BFP!

AFM- temp went down a little yesterday but picked up this morning. Hope that's a good sign! I took a test yesterday(BFN). Today I guess didn't have enough fmu cause the line didn't come up as dark. I have one more test left for tomorrow. My lp is about 11-12 days so I hope af doesn't show tomorrow or the next day. I'm praying for everyone! Good luck ladies!

This thread has really taken an interesting turn, lol. Dear new people and lurkers who come in and see all of us freezing and boiling our pee, we are not completely nuts and doing kitchen chemistry with your urine is not a requirement to join.

Sometimes I hate it when I'm right! AF is here.

Please move me to Waiting to O.

Oh, and I have a chart now! I'll start tracking temps today/tomorrow, so it will soon have something on it http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/30954e

LivingSky - sorry

WTHamI? - LMAO, and seconding your quote. Also, YAY for Oing!

Sweet.Bee - good to know on the cranberry....I hate cranberry, but will keep it in mind (I was a lota-CMer before DS...now not as much)

Stevi - got ya well, lots of luck your way!

Karma - thinking of you today!

me - CD7, started temping this morning. Link to my chart here for the front page: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/MyFFChart . Hope that link works...it doesnt seem like it should. Will edit if not

Heh. I'm a new people. Maybe I shouldn't have jumped right into the science experiments.

Specs never showed... Men! They even exasperate me when all I want is the sex! Argh!
Please add me to waiting to O. I don't think we're going to try this cycle as I REALLY want to get a tattoo in a few days if I get a little birthday money. I have not been charting. I lost my basal thermometer. The thing just vaporized into thin air. And now I don't want to spend $ for another one. I'm not sure if I want to do any super charting or OPKs anymore. I may change my mind, though.

Cherrie, I'd say anytime your temp. goes up instead of down that's a GREAT thing!!

More recent update for me, I started spotting today... 11 dpo. What do you ladies think about that? If I start spotting at 11 dpo, do I need to do something to lengthen my LP? I'm already taking 100mg B6 and almost 1000mg RRL. I'm going to be starting cycle #6 and am considering vitex.
to LivingSky and Stevi. Why can't men and our bodies just cooperate with us already?!
motray36, someone else here was trying grapefruit juice rather than cranberry, if that sounds any better to you (personally, I hate grapefruit, but think cranberry is ok). I think it was CLH_X3. Maybe she can tell you more. CLH_X3, where arrreee yooouuu?! And then also for CM there's something like evening primrose oil (?) in a pill maybe (?) Sorry, I don't know anything about that, but someone here must.

Stevi, sorry.

WTHamI?, I must have gone crazy if experimenting with pee doesn't sound so weird. Oh, and yay for O! You can be cycle buddies with us, if you want.

BarefootScientist, personally, I'm looking forward to hearing the results of your next experiment.

Karma - Thinking of you

Lydia - My periods are between 6 and 8 days usually, it is frustrating. The last couple days are usually pretty light, but still annoying.

Barefootscientist - I am loving your experiments and loving even more that you are willing to do them! I want to know the outcome but do not want to play with my urine! Thanks for the update! I really hope this is your month!

Mommymotsumoto - I had to come back and edit because I missed your last post. As far as my understanding goes, as long at your LP is 9+ days you should not be overly concerned unless you have been trying a long time and then make note of it to your doctor. Technically 9-16 day LP is healthy. and s Do you usually spot before AF or is this out of the norm?

Cherrie - Temps going up IS a good thing!!! I hope you get your BFP soon!

Livingsky - s looking forward to stalking your new chart! I hope the thermi proves to be helpful. I also hope the stress dies down soon! It can reek havoc! My body is apparently out of whack right now! I have had picture perfect cycles for over a year and then last cycle threw everything for a loop and now I have no idea how long to expect my LP to be...

AFM - Been crampy all day. I don't think I usually feel so consistently crampy before AF, but it has been a long time since I really paid much attention to that sort of thing. If I excluded last cycle I would consider AF late right now, but with last cycle in consideration I guess I wont get my hoped up until Saturday! Not sure when I will test, I prefer to test when DH is at work, so I guess I need to bite the bullet and do it tomorrow or wait until Monday if I get that far. I just hate wasting tests! I only have two...

And my CM is turning creamy, so, looks like my hopes are now centered on my donation from Sweet.

Warning, possible TMI.... That chance may not be as awful as I originally thought, when I removed the Instead Cup, there was some stuff in it. It was watery, whitish and smelled unlike me, so I'm assuming it was from his sperm.

And, I'm still supposed to see Smilie tonight, there's always a chance of some of his swimmers getting in there in time.

I may have a better chance next cycle, if this one is another bust. One of my donors from 2008, a guy I only used once, has contacted me. He's willing to jump onto my team of donors. Which is good, because I really need to write off Specs! So, another nicname, hmmm. Maybe Soldier? As he's in the service.

I'm trying to stay positive, here!

Everybody think Reproductive Thoughts!!

Thank you for all of the hugs!!!
