My RE told me and DH that I didn't need to get up for about 15-30 minutes after we DTD when TTC this one once he gave me the go to trigger my ovulation. It ups your chances a little more, from what he told us, for the little guys to get to where they are supposed to. I hope that helped a little.

Sweet Bee: I may be able to join your list of cycle buddies, but I am going to wait to tomorrow to confirm. Although I am pretty sure I ovulated on CD 14 which would make me 4dpo today.

Vivica: If I don't get pregnant this cycle I will get a new thermometer. I think I have read somewhere on the MDC boards that switching mid cycle might mess up the accuracy of the temp readings of the whole chart. Plus I just really hope I am pregnant this cycle.

Ugh, these possible pg symptoms are really doing a number on me. I'm trying to hard to stay neutral but the reality is I pretty much think I'm pg, so if I'm not...sigh. It's going to be a bitter pill to swallow. I'm so so hopeful this cycle. I really wish I weren't!!

My bbs are tingly, heavy and sore, I have cramps that feel like af, a really dull backache across my lower back, and lots of creamy/sticky cm. Lots. I just wish I knew!

baby cakes: I am with you on the symptoms... This will be my second full cycle since DD2 weaned, i am not sure if it is coincidence or not, but last month and now I feel very PG! Not sure if not BFing has really altered my AF symptoms and hormones or what. But I feel nauseous and have soar boobs which are completely out of the norm for me... Oh the waiting! I had complete insomnia last night too which I generally only have while PG or when I have a baby under 6 months. Blah! Did you already say when you will be testing? I am trying to hold out until AF is for sure late, which should be Saturday.

Silverbird: I don't think laying down for a while afterwords hurts, I have always done it, however my NFP teacher insists that as long as there is quality CM present you should get lots of swimmers where they need to be regardless of how long you wait... I still like waiting though!

I am 8dpo and have the EXACT same symptoms. I woke up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and was like, WOW!, my lower back/sacrum area was just burning. Weird. Anyway, I'm trying not to get too excited, but I kind of want to test tomorrow and I told myself I'd wait until Friday. I don't know if I can wait!!

I have been testing, that's my problem. Testing too much! I have ICs and $trees in my house! Everything has been a blaring BFN, of course, b/c it's way too early. I'm going to do everything in my power NOT to test tmw. I think I want to hold out til wednesday now.

Actually, I know that depending on my temp tmw, I'll decide. If it's down again, I'm probably out. I've had a 10-11 lp for the past few cycles, so we shall see. I so so so hope that's not the case!! GAH!

Oh No, Im not actually trying to sway for a boy or a girl, I will be very happy with whatever I have... My Ph is naturally very low... I havent changed my diet at all since forever and I only bought the strips as there were super cheap.. I didnt know having a low ph is bad for the swimmers I just thought it was naturally better for a girl... My OH little men are about a 7/8 .. and im a 4 ....... could that be causing us a problem?

On a better note my OH has said he will have a SA done at the end of this cycle if no luck!!! WOOOOO!! .. hes a diamond Im going to wait until I O and then Il book his app for what would work out CD1 and then I can always cancell it if i get a BFP ...

My OH has got MAN FLU again now, im just glad its now and not in 10 days time when I O!

Temp wasn't down, it was up! Hooray! I nearly cried! I so expected a low temp and AF today. Whew, ok, one more day I can still hope.

I tested thought and two blaring bfns - but I'm only 10dpo. There's still time. I used an IC and a $tree. Not ready to break out the big guns just yet...

Woke up and didn't want coffee first thing. That is so unlike me. And still crampy. Hoping DD wakes up soon so we can go for a walk and I can try to clear my head!

for all of you who are waiting (and me too!) I'm 12 or 13dpo today. I've convinced myself (for now) to wait until Friday to test. I would expect AF to arrive today or tomorrow, so by Friday she should be definitely late.

I've also promised myself that if I'm not pg this cycle, I'm getting a BBT and will start properly charting temps. I've just been worried that charting will make me stress over TTC more than I already am!

We're actually going to be able to try this cycle, as I am actually, finally getting better. Of course I started school yesterday, so all my free time just went poof, but we are doing this!!!

I'm going to wait til I get crosshairs to be moved, but I THINK I ovulated! My OPKs are back to negative and my temp this morning was higher than any other temps this cycle. (Which is saying something since this is CD46.) So cross your fingers for me that my temps are this high tomorrow and the day after, I would love to finally get some nice crosshairs on my chart. I'm not expecting to get pregnant from ovulating on CD45 (although it's possible, right?) but I'll still be ecstatic if I get solid crosshairs and a normal-length LP even if it doesn't result in a baby this month.

Got the "official" go-ahead for TTC from DH.

Meaning, we had a conversation about it as opposed to "whatever."

I don't want to pressure him into it, so I've kind of been leaving it up to him to bring up. He was actually really cute...I told him when the good week was to try (based on a general count), and he said, "Oh, well I will be camping three of those days, so...well, wait, if we get up early on Friday morning, then do it again as soon as I get back..."

So, I'm CD5 and impatient. I bought some OPKs and will be reading the instructions on that tonight. Still undecided on temping this cycle, but I will be monitoring CM. Temping might make me feel better though.

Based on past cycles, I'm guessing an O around Sept 1. So, 2 weeks to go! Then 2 weeks of being psychotic!
