Are the new Perfect-sized FBs as good as the originals?

I had DD diapered most of the time in FB mediums (circa 2006 and 2007) - so they got about 15 months of solid use. They were the old type with the points on the wings rather than the "blockier" design they have now.

I had planned to use them with DS - they've been losing their elastic but I was going to replace it. However 3 or 4 of them now are developing holes in the leg casing. Although I don't put them in the dryer now, I think I did back in the day, which probably contributed to this. Still, they don't owe me anything.

I haven't tried the new version - are they as nice as the old version? I love these current ones - they're so trim and leak-proof. I'm trying to decide whether to buy a few more FBs, to invest more in Flip, or to go with a WAHM diaper. Even with my very eclectic diaper stash, these old FBs are still what I reach for first...

I have only used the new style and I like them a lot.

I have both and I think they are.

The new FBs are actually better than the old versions, because they've improved the inserts (they're now 4 layer instead of 3 layer) and the "blockier" snap closure actually makes for a better fit and a sturdier cinch (imagine DS trying to take his diaper off... next to impossible, lol!). The micro-fleece liners are soooo super soft, too. I've got the perfect sizes and the OSs and I love them both!

I haven't tried the old ones but like the PP's I also love the perfect size new version.
