I know I don't need to worry about this now but I have to ask.
My daughter is approaching 2 in 4 mos. Her PT mention a special bed for her.
How do I know she need to transition to a bed or special needs bed?
She is in a crib currently but the highest level because she still cannot sit herself up and it's easier to lift her at the higher level.
I feel I should transition her to a big girl bed at 3 like I did my 1st daughter; just like any other kid. However I don't know how to do this. So do we just get a twin or full and put rails on it? Do we just put a mattress on the floor with rails? She can only roll on the floor now. DO we keep her in a crib until she really out grows it? What do I do?? Should we really consider a sleepsafe bed?? I was considering having my husband make a bed frame to fit the mattress snug with hinged rails but I like the idea of having a bed that can be lifted near the head when she is sick.
She has C-ACC GDD does not walk or crawl or scoot yet. Cannot pull to sit or stand.
