Most important info to know?

I am afraid of an unintentional UC (due to the last birth being very quick). Could anyone give me the very basics that I NEED to know. I tried browsing here but find it overwhelming.

I am concerned about the birth and bleeding afterwards. Also...if the midwife doesn't make it in time...do I call 911? or what happens?

(Last baby was a homebirth...quick.... mw arrived at 1:57am, second at 2:20am and baby born at 2:21am.)

If things are okay - I wouldn't call 911 unless you want a perfectly good UC/homebirth turned into a nightmare transfer. If everything is alright..uh..just chill. Enjoy the baby. If you have a midwife on the way, no need to do anything, just hold and cuddle baby until she gets there. IF you feel you are truly in danger, hemorhaging, baby isn't breathing, etc, then yes, call 911 and get help there ASAP. Otherwise - You don't need to do anything until midwife arrives.
