Can anyone review these side snapping onesize diapers?

So I've decided to try cloth again, and to get a one sized one. I want to get side snapping ones, because my DS has chubby thighs and with the last diapers I had, he would get red marks. (My DS is 13months) So side-snapping will be better for use hopefully. And also just like the look and idea of side snapping.

I am looking at these ones right now and was wondering if any of you have tried them and what you like of don't like about them?

- Babykicks Organic Fitted
- Babykicks Bumboo Pocket
- Grovia All in Ones
- Knickernappies One size

We have a Knickernappies one size. It works great, hold pee/poop in and everything. I gotta say though, I hate the side-snapping. It's really hard for me to use on a squirmy baby and it wasn't easy to put on my toddler either. Fits both though!

Thank you! I haven't tried side-snapping yet.. I hope I don't hate them! Good to know that the Knickernappies is actually one-size and fits both.

I've tried all but the Babykicks fitted. I like the side-snap but it really does take some getting used to, especially on a squirmy lo. My favorite would be the Knickernappies sized diapers - very trim. DH doesn't like the side snaps. If you have a heavy wetter the Knickernappies (either one ) with loopy do inserts is a great choice!

Thanks!

I actually strongly prefer side snapping diapers. I find that if you do the bottom set of snaps on both sides you can slide them up like underwear and then adjust the waist. It's super quick and involves no having to fuss with making a squirmy kid lie down.

We have the Knickernappies in both sized and one-size. I like them both a lot.

I have tried all of them. Of them, my favorite would be the Knickernappies OS. Really trim and a great fit.

BabyKicks fitteds are nice but they do require a fairly high-cut cover like Bummis.

BabyKicks pockets are coming out with new colors at the beginning of September so you might want to wait a bit. Very soft leg gussets (fleece.)

GroVia AIO is trim and soft and the stretchy tabs are nice, but the extra length of the tabs always migrates up onto dd's belly.

I found the Knickernappies to run really big. Their medium sized pocket, however, fit DS1 from about 6 months to PT.
I adore the Grovia AIO, it's super trim and soft. I hear they're also coming out with prints in the fall.
I had high hopes for the Babykicks pocket but it's really bunchy and doesn't fit well. And the fleece got pilly and weird after one wash.

Thank you. I think I will try the Knickernappies for my 13month old DS.
But I'm not sure if I should get the medium in the sized ones or the one size (so I could use it on my newborn too). How well do the one size ones fit newborns? Would it better to just get small for the newborn and medium for this one? I'm sure the medium will last till they are potty trained. My 13 month old is only about 21lbs right now.

I honestly haven't tried it on DS2 (8 weeks, 11ish pounds) because it looks so big but I'll try to remember to tomorrow and I'll report back.

Ok thanks so much!

So I'm actually really impressed with the fit. It fit snugly around his thighs with one more snap to go. It is a much higher rise then I personally prefer but it's nice and flat in the front, not all bunchy like the BabyKicks pocket was. Overall, with a small microfiber insert it's a pretty trim OS option on a little one.

Really, OK that's great to know! I'm thinking I will just get OS then. Thank you so much again for doing that!
