Sauerkraut shelf life after opening?

I have a jar of Eden's Organic Sauerkraut that I opened on June 28th and have had in the refrigerator ever since. Is it still okay to eat?

I checked Eden's website and they talked about the shelf life being 2 years after manufacture, but it didn't specify anything about after opening it. (BTW, the jar is good until March 2011).

it's not canned, so honestly, it shouldn't make a difference if you opened it or not (unless you either took out a lot of the brine, or contaminated it by sticking your fork back in or something) even if you did, it would still last a while.
