We are thinking of getting an air cleaner attached to our furnace. Does anyone have one that is working for them for pollen allergies? I understand pollens are heavy and don't always make it to the filter.
Our concern about the pleated ones is that to force the air through, the fan will have to be loud.
Our concern about the electronic/electrostatic ones is that it might produce some ozone and that I feel a bit hesitant about having electrically charged particles in our house.
My husband is also mildly allergic to dog dander so it would be great to help with that too. I have allergies to mold and sensitivities to VOCs, but I think we will deal with those other ways.
