need stroller recomendation

Thread Starter
We like to walk, and right now I'm using either a baby sling/carrier OR putting DS in our car seat and attaching it to the stroller that I keep in the car.

He hates the car seat, and isn't a big fan of slings at the moment.

I'm hoping for some stroller recommendations :]
He's only 6 weeks, so ideally something he can use now [maybe something that lays down] up until he's a toddler. Something that's LIGHT weight so I can fold it to get on the bus, but that can go over bumpy Manhattan streets?

Phew. So yes, any advice would be great. I SEE all these fancy looking strollers all the time, but have no idea what they are called/if they are the price of small cars

Baby jogger city mini...

Albee baby has a sale ($99), just check description online..
I think there are videos on youtube.

Recline is almost flat. I did not use a stroller for the first 6 months, and I did not test this one with a small baby, but a lot of moms I know really love it.

ditto on the city mini.
i actually own a big fancy-shmancy clunker which i do think maneuver better but if i lived in nyc i would trade a smidgen of drivability (which the city mini is still good for...even with the smaller wheels) for the portability and ease of folding, smaller size, etc etc....

we have an Uppababy Vista. it comes with a lovely bassinet attachment for the wee ones and then a seat that can face forward or backwards. i love it, although i guess it might be a little annoying to drag on and off a bus (it does fold up very easily and isn't heavy).
