Multiples on the brain

Please somebody stop me. I can't stop thinking about multiples I can't stop referring to my pregnancy as mulitples. I think in them... and i think in twos. I refer to them as my babies... yes plural. I usually can get over this really quickly, just been a fleeting thought before but now it feels encompassing. I really feel like i'm going to need a sonogram just to make sure there is just one in there... sure i'll be happy with two, but the stress level would just go through the roof

Any reason to think there's more than one? Aside from intuition, I mean?

I'm showing more but this is my third. really i don't know I was told it was a possibilty familiy wise like 5 years ago but i'm really not too sure about it as I don't actually know of any twins in my family.

I'm just more sick and everything started earlier with this pregnancy. my moodiness the sickness just everything... It's driving me crazy...

And I'm just feeling really run down the last few days with the heat wave we are going through

If it helps, there are threads like this in "I'm Pregnant" all the time, and I've yet to see one of them turn into "I'm really pregnant with twins!" Most of the time it just seems to be a mental thing (worry, hope, fear, whatever) that women get fixated on.

And no wonder, right? I think a lot of women start out their pregnancies and wonder if their change in symptoms/size could be due to multiples. There's so much unkown at the start of a pregnancy, it's only human to start picturing what's going on in there, or to give yourself a reason why you're so much more tired, more sick, larger, etc.

(...and as a former mom of twins, lemme tell ya ....though I loved my sons and loved their twin-ness, having one at a time is WAY BETTER. Don't wish that on yourself!!)

Yup, I swore I was having two... had them named, had dreams, was showing early, sick days before my BFP, super high betas, etc. 3 u/s's say just one. My cousin on the other hand is having twin girls and had NO intuition whatsoever.
