Resources from OB's office

I have an Old White Guy for an OB who practices out of a huge downtown clinic/hospital with all the latest "machines that go ping."

Today I had one of my first pre-natal appointments with him and my nurse and I got a list of resources from them which included: spinningbabies.com and our own good old mothering.com. So yay.

Very nice!

I have Kaiser and this is my 2nd child with them. At my first prenantal visit, I saw that they have an entire booklet devoted to breastfeeding and I read through it and all the info was right on target! At the back, there was a list of links that included kellymom.com and breastfeeding.com. I was amazed!

Very cool!! Sometimes the old white guys have actually been around long enough to see obstetric trends come in and out of fashion and have their heads on straight.. he sounds like a real rarity!

That's great! The first mw I saw last pregnancy was handing out photocopied pamphlets with information from 1998. That was pretty much the last straw of a long list of fails for her.
