Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease Question

Thread Starter
My two year old son has Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease and I was wondering if there was a natural approach to healing it. I know that there is no medical way to heal this virus, but I was hoping that I could make my son a little more comfortable. I soaked his feet in a warm water and silver bath and also put both his hands and feet into a bowl of breastmilk. I have increased his Vitamin D as well. Any other suggestions are welcomed!
Thank you.

HFM is viral....viruses deplete vit a. I would give him vit a drops until he is better and perhaps even for a wekk or 2 after that. Anything else with antiviral properties may be useful as well. Hope he feels better soon.

I use vitamin A and D along with homeopathy. Phytolacca, belladonna and gelsemium are some of the remedies that have been doing a good job this year for coxsackie.

It's a virus, and l-lysine is helpful in healing viruses. L-lysine is an amino acid which is used in building tissues, especially in mucous membranes.

Google herpes and l-lysine for ideas about dosage. It's much higher than on the bottle.
