Milkies Milk Collector or Avent Nipple Shield?

Hi Ladies! I need to stop wasting all this leaking BM. It's one thing to start letting down while I'm standing around my kitchen and grab a couple of bottles or cups to stick under my bubs, but this isn't really feasible when I'm nursing on one side and start letting down like crazy on the other. Very awkward to stick a cup under me at that point. I've heard good things and bad about the Milkies Milk Collector and the Avent Nipple Shield. Does anyone have experience with both? My left nip is generally a bit on the inverted side, is one better for this problem than the other?

I don't think I usually leak more than maybe half an ounce to an ounce per feeding. I'm mostly just looking for something to use while I'm nursing. Especially since I'm not one of those ladies who produces a whole lot of extra milk (getting my supply up to where it should be was a doozy, and I usually get just what he needs and not much more), and I'm trying to keep up a freezer stash for those times when hubby and I need to have a break and leave him with Grandma for a few hours!

Thanks ladies!

I would also like to know if anyone has used Milkies and your experience with it. Thanks!

The Milkies collector is great. It's bulky, so I wouldn't use it in public, but it works great at home. I usually got 1-2oz/feeding when I was using it.

I really like the avent colector. It was cheaper, easily available, and it stayed in place really, really well; even with a fussy baby.
