10 month old EBF - supplements?

I have a 10 month old DD and she has been exclusively breastfed. She has had bottles of Breastmilk occasionally when I have to leave or have appointments. I pumped very rarely, just often enough to have 4/5 bottles worth of milk in the freezer. I tried to pump this week now to build my freezer stash back up due to having emergency medical problems last week and me needing to be away from DD more then normal. Well, now Im only getting .5 ounce each pumping session when I used to get 3 oz. My LLL leader said thats normal since DD has weaned herself down to nursing 3 times a day. But Now I have no freezer supply for when I need to be gone. (which is rare) My question is, what milk or formula would be most like Breast milk and that my daughter would be more likely to not have problems with occasionally? I have never used formula for her so I am clueless. Any breast feeding mamas that are supplementing I could use some brand names to try! Thanks.

Have you considered some solids yet? At 10 months for just the occasional trips away I'd probably leave some type of regular food with her "sitter".

Yeah, a few solids is probably what I would consider at that age. Also, I would try like crazy to increase nursings to as many a day as you can to help supply.

Sorry, I guess I shouldnt say she is EBF, she does get solids at meal times. I meant EBF as in never having any other milk/formula. . .

Then I would really just leave soe solids and try to increase breastfeeding when at home. I wouldn't start Formula...

i agree with solids and maybe a sippy cup? millie only gets water in hers but she takes it in the car when i can't stop to nurse. it buys us a little time.

personally, i'd do cow or goat milk over formula, but you'll need to research those options and decide for what is best for kianna. hugs and feel better, shannon!

Since PP already mentioned solids, I would consider goat milk first before cow's milk or formula. Goat milk is closest to breastmilk and is easier to digest than cow's milk and coe's milk-based formulas. DS can't have casein so we don't do either goat or cow's milk, and instead we use preferably hemp milk then rice milk (he's also nut and soy free which nixes other options).
