Babe hasn't grown in 4.5 months

Our 9.5 month old used to be following his percentile nicely (60th for length and 30th for weight), but he hasn't grown since about 6months and is now in below 3 and 1 percentiles. Our pediatrician had said at the 7.5 well visit not tow worry, as he just started walking, but shouldn't he at least get longer?

We don't have another well visit before 10.5 months. I am just on and off with the worries; he develops fine and hits all sort of milestones, he just does not grow.

Should I worry, is this normal, is there anything I can do to encourage growth?

Does he still nurse? I know with *very* active babies, it can sometimes be hard to get food into them. My baby is 8 months old, and has decreased in his percentage, as well, although not as dramatically.

I would make sure he gets lots of fatty food-- avocado, breast milk, meats. And that his iron is good.

I know it is hard not to worry. I would probably make an appt. and make sure he has enough iron, and all that.

But some babies are just lean and mean, are you or your dh within these percentiles? really thin, or small?

He does still nurse and it often is hard to get food and breastmilk into him. But he still nurses 8-10 a day.

Both my dh and I are tall (5 10 and 6 2) and lean (BMI of 18.5 and 19), so the lean parts fit, just not the very tiny part. We both have tiny people in our families and his sister was treated with growth hormones, because she was so tiny. So, I feel, there might be reason to worry - although I don't know what that would imply for our son.
