Anyone else have names already?

I've already decided on names. lol. Slightly premature I guess.

Girl - Analise Rose
Boy - Samuel Wid

My husbands grandparents are/were Anne and Wid. His grandpa passed away a few years ago. My mom's middle name is Rose. We try to atleast keep middle names in the family. I have such a hard time with boy names but I do like Samuel (but not Sam or Sammy).

My other children are Joshua Thomas and Miriam June.

I do.

For a girl
Synnove Astrid

and for a boy:
Nil Lorens
or Nils Markus

My grandmother's name was Astrid and so is my real name, though I go by Sarah.

Nils is the Swedish equivalent of Nickolas, my BIL's name.
Lorens is for my grandfather, father and brother.

Analise is a beautiful name and goes fabulously with Rose.

I really like Wid. That is super cool name. I'd have a hard time not calling a baby Sammy though, if his name was Samuel. You're the mama though and you get to decide.

Not sure yet. We do biblical/Christian names for the first name and family names for the middle name. If it's a boy it will be named after my dad. If it's a girl it will be named at least in part for my MIL. Right now we're thinking...

Noah Edward
Nathaniel Edward

Hope Kaylynn (Kay for MIL, Lynn for my sister)

Not sure if these will stick or not. We'll see...

Our girl name will be Isla Grace

If we are having a boy let the arguments begin!

We've been talking about names for a while. We still have our girl name since DS was a boy...but it's not at the top of our list. We have a few girl options but not too much boy...but either way, we don't tell a soul (IRL or online) what the names will be.

We're using our boy name from our 1st pregnancy and a few months ago DH informed me of the girl name he has to have. I'm in charge of middle names. If it's a girl Jean, after my great aunt. If it's a boy Anthony, FIL's middle name. We use two middle names, but I'm not set on the second yet.

We like to use family names. For a girl either

Margaret Anne (my grandmother + my middle) or
Alida Lynn (MiL's middle + my mom's middle)

for a boy either

James Andrew (my dad + DH's middle) or
William Peyton (multiple + my great-great grandfather)

I've got a list started. We use Hindi names for middle names since my FIL is Indian and immigrated over here in the 60s for college. I am pretty sure a middle name for a boy will be Mohan, it is DH's Great Gradfather's name. We have four middle names for a girl, just need to decide which one goes best, I like Mira best, but we also like Jyoti, Romola/Romila and Parvarti.

As for first names I have a list, nothing is overly sticking out right now, but I am hoping something starts to soon.

For girls our list is:

Acacia
Alethea
Beatrice
Brynn/Brynna
Cordelia
Fiona
Geneva
Genevieve
Georgia
Gwendolyn
Hazel
Iris
Josephine
Lila
Linnea
Maeve
Minerva
Portia
Rosalind
Rowena
Willow
Xenia/Xinia
Zinnia

For boys our list is:

Adrian
Alastair
Beckett
Bertram
Brannock
Callum
Cormac
Edison
Felix
Galen
Quenton
Ronan
Tavish
Truman
Walden

I am sort of leaning towards a B or G name in honor of my Grandfathers who both died right around DD's birth, but we may just go for a name we like. DD was named after my Grandmother.

I love Analise - it was on our short list for DD! We named her Elizabeth Ann instead, and I think that's too close to Analise for me.

If this is a girl, she will be most likely be Audrey (her middle name would probably be Clare or Catherine). If this is a boy, there will be a fight. Neither of us has a real favorite, but we also don't like the same style of names. I would call a boy Charlie in a heartbeat but there are 3 Charles/Charlies already in DH's family

Girl:
Isabella(Bella)
Mia
Ava
(middle name will be Ann after my mom and I)
Boy:
Jake
I like Ryan, DH doesnt
Gavin
(not sure about middle names here..I'd like to use Ray after my dad and brother)

DH said that I can name this child. We had a list for our DS, narrowed it down to 2 and then he picked one night when I didnt want to think about it anymore. lol

Aww man...Isla and Grace. Two names I love that I cannot sell to DH for my life.

I have no idea for names except that I have really been loving the name Grace/Gracie (haha...partly because I'm totally emotional right now and I've been watching Friday Night Lights and I totally love the name "Gracie Belle" ...which is shocking to me since I would have thought I would have poked my eyes out before even entertaining the name "Belle")...

But alas, DH really doesn't love the name Grace, and it doesn't sound that fantastic with our last name, which starts with a G...

And boy names are even worse...we have had three pregnancies to talk about boy names and NEVER settled on one we liked.

I'm sure we'll go with the "name-the-kid-30-minutes-after-they're-born" strategy as we have with the other two. :-)

Boys names are so hard! Here is my list so far:

Keegan
Holden
Lachlan
Cian (Kian)
Keaton
Rhys (Reece)
Levi
Grayson
Marek
Malcolm
Malachai
Nathaniel
Paxton
Asher
Ryder
Ronan
August

My husband likes Boston. Which I actually like but he's a red sox fan so I think it is too weird. I also like Phineas but DH hates it. Our middle names are Robert, Dean, or Charles (all family names).

Names are such an issue for us. I just can't think of a girls name that I love as much as I love the girls names we've already used. And I'm speculating it will be another girl!

So far we've tossed around: Hadley, Matilda, Jayne, Myka. I like Charlotte/Charlie but DH HATES it. We have no more girl family names to use for middle names so I don't know what the girl name will be.

Boy I think we are leaning towards Max and Spencer will be the middle name.

If it were up to me I would use Spencer for a girl, too. But again. DH hates it!

Years ago I had some visions of the future, and they had my children in them, as adults. But I only caught the name of the second son, and that was Kazimir.

So, when we were choosing a first son's name, we didn't want a name ending in -mir because we didn't want rhyming boys. So we chose Rostislav.

Now my DH refuses to use Kazimir. So we settled on Vladimir. It doesn't 100% fit our requirements like Kazimir does. It is too common among Russians. But, we are no longer planning to live in the Ukraine, so it doesn't matter anymore. He won't be one of 10 Vladimirs in his class. (I also hate the usual nickname for Vladimir, Vova. I refuse to use it. We will have to use one of the rarer ones.)

If it is a girl, we agree on Zorana.

We both love the name River James for a boy. Also love the name River for a girl, but no clue on middle name yet. Last time we had a girl's name picked out but couldn't for the life of us agree on a boy's name, and we had a girl. This time, we have a boy's name, but can't really agree on a girl's name, so maybe it's a boy? ;-)

We also like Rowan and Reese.
