Male factor plus 1 tube...Is IUI still a good option?

I haven't posted on here in quite awhile. DH and I have been TTC for about 18 months now. Around the year mark we started having some fertility blood work done since we knew we'd been timing things well (I was temping, using OPK's, checking mucus, etc). My blood work is normal, although I have wonky length cycles, but DH's morphology and motility were low (count is fine). We saw a RE in July and the plan at that time was to have me do an HSG this month and then start clomid with a trigger shot plus IUI next month. I went in for the HSG this afternoon and although my right tube is "perfect" my left tube is totally blocked.

Does anyone have experience doing IUI with only one tube? Do they have you do the trigger shot and then see which side releases an egg before proceeding with the IUI? I'm going to call my RE tomorrow, but I'm super bummed out so I thought I'd see if anyone here has experience with this.

I haven't had that experience but hopefully your RE can give you more direction. I would think you still have a chance, but you'd have to be monitored to see if you ovulate that month on the side with the open tube.
