Here's my latest favorite

2 quarts chicken stock
1/2 onion
a few cloves of garlic
1-2 ears of corn, corn removed from cob
1 zucchini/summer squash, quartered and sliced
a little bot of cubed sweet potato
some left over baby carrots
1.5 cups of beans (I cook them ahead)
1 large handful egg noodles (add them later so they don't overcook)
some tomato paste or pumpkin puree
about 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
salt, pepper, dried herbs (I use a french herb mix)
