buttermilk powder?

I have some buttermilk powder that my MIL gave me. She was on vacation near Amish country, and bought a whole bunch of grains, soup mixes, and the buttermilk powder, and gave us half. Very generous of her, but I'm trying to find out if it's okay or not. I know powdered eggs and regular powdered milk have oxidized cholesterol (and would never touch them), but what about this?

nobody? is it that obscure?

Honestly, I really don't know, but my assumption would be that it's probably not much different than regular powdered milk

I'd guess it's not ok from a TF perspective. I have used it on occasion in the past for baked goods.

I figured as much. I would have rather she asked before she unloaded all this stuff on me (I was already considering sharply reducing my grain intake), but I don't want to waste it, either.
