DS will only Potty for me. Anyone else experience this?

DS is 17 months and has been pottying for me for several months now. If a friend babysits him and tries to sit him on the potty he fusses and cries like he's terrified. He has just started in daycare 2 weeks ago, and he does the same thing there. Anyone else have a dc that refused to potty for anyone but Mom? Suggestions? I don't really want him in diapers at daycare becuase I think it would be confusing to be potty training in underwear at home and in diapers all day. What to do?

Yes, DD was potty trained before she started daycare... but once she started she REFUSED to go there. Now 1.5 months later, she'll go some there and she's slowly getting used to things. The worst of the regression is over and she's even gotten a lot better about going potty with DH! She's 19 months now,, so it really just took patience for us.
