i know some ladies have had luck getting their insurance to cover the cost of a breastpump. how do you go about that? fwiw, we have anthem. i called prior to having ds and was told they only cover rental fees. i didn't really need to replace my pump then, so i never pursued it any further. my pisa now has 3+ yrs of pumping time, and i'm expecting to pump another 1 1/2 -2 yrs with this baby, so it's really time for a new one i think. our plan changed slightly, so i'm wondering if they would cover it under 'durable medical' equipment now. i just want to have all my ducks in a row before i go calling them this time.
