Activities for 5 and 8 y/o

Help! I have a 2 y/o and 5 y/o. I will be babysitting a 5 y/o and 8 y/o for a few weeks. The weather is still nice out so I think they will play outside a lot. We will probably go to the park one day. I don't feel comfortable taking all four kids to many public places. Too hard to keep my eye on. I thought we could bake cupcakes or home made pizza.I would like to do some kind of art/craft project with stuff I have around the house. I don't know these kids very well, so I am not sure what they are interested in. I need ideas! What do 8 y/o girls and 5 y/o boys like to do? (That another 5 y/o and 2 y/o can join in with?) Thanks!

I have a 4 1/2 year old boy and a 7 1/2 year old girl, and they recently spent a lot of time over a couple of days making boats out of paper, waterproofing them with huge quantities of scotch tape, and sailing them in the wading pool.

Making and flying paper airplanes
Making and playing with play dough
Playing in the sprinkler
Playing board games
