Mods, I posted this here instead of meal planning since I'm looking exclusively for vegan meal ideas.
So we are having our first CSA box delivered tomorrow, and I'm trying to plan out our meals for the week (and make a grocery list as needed). This is the contents of the box:
Qty Item Producing Farm
1 1 lb Summer Peas - LocalPeas On Earth
1 Bag Mixed Salad Greens - LocalPeas On Earth
1 Bag Broccoli - LocalPeas On Earth
1 Bunch Spanish Onions - LocalPeas on Earth
1 Bunch Kale - Local BunchPeas On Earth
1 Bag Beans - Green and Yellow - Local Sundog Organic Farm
1 Bag New Potatoes - Local Halwa Farms
1 Bag Purple Carrots - Local Halwa Farms
1 2 Garlic - Russian Red - BC Local Baessler Farm
1 Clam Fresh Raspberries - LocalRoy's Raspberries
1 Clam Blueberries - BC Local Warkentin Farms
1 lb Plums - Mixed - BC LocalSproule & Sons
1 Bunch Bananas Fair Trade - Peru Bos Salitral
Just looking for outside perspectives on what to do with these particular foods. We like everything in the box, but I know if left to my own devices, I'll fall right back into our food rut and prepare things the way I always do. The only exception is that the Kale will become kale chips. it's the only way I'll eat it because honestly every other way I've had it, I thought it was icky.
So what meals would YOU make with these ingredients on hand? (I always have pantry staples like pastas, grains, etc)
