Decrease in supply?

I am nursing my 21 month old DS. I have never had a problem with my supply. For almost a month now DS will stop nursing then want the other side. At first I figured he was just being picky because if I self expressed to check, milk would shoot out. He is still doing this sometimes and now when I check, it seems like I have a harder time getting milk and it is just a dribble. Could my suppply be drying up? Should I pump after nursing? Advice please.

Also I feel like my breast size looks smaller. That could be just in my head because my biggest bras are still too small.

i'm sorry i can't offer any advice but i am interested in what others say because i have also noticed that my supply seems low. i am nursing my fourteen month old and she also needs to switch sides sooner and my breasts appear smaller...hmmm.

me three? nursing a 15mo.

when she's teething she wants to nurse all the time and I think my supply builds up from that and is OK - then she has a few days of not nursing that much and my supply suffers.

Are any of you ladies pregnant? My supply went "poof!" when I got pregnant. Before getting pregnant, I also had a dip every time I ovulated, for a day or so, and then again when I was bleeding, for a day before and a day after my period.

I took fenugreek twice a day until I got pregnant, when I stopped. I smelled like maple and it seemed to give my supply a boost.

That is interesting info. The day I posted this I had started my period. I will see if things get back to normal when I am done. Although already yesterday I was shooting milk across the room again. DS is still always wanting whichever side I am not offering. I think I am spoiling him but if I do not let him switch he just keeps crying and will not latch back onto the side I originally offered. Is this just a toddler thing? What would you all do?

I make sure while nursing my toddler that he understands that my body is MINE. He loves to nurse, and I love to let him, but if he doesn't like what I'm offering him, he can have juice or food or something else. Especially now that I have a smaller baby, I only offer him one boob at a time. If he doesn't want that boob, he can get down. he's not allowed to pull at my shirt or grab the other breast. He can throw a huge tantrum, it doesn't kill him and it shows him that I am in charge whether he likes it or not.
