Can I re-refrigerate pumped milk?

I know that you can't re-freeze thawed milk and that you need to use it within about 24 hours. And, I know that you can leave milk out in a not-too-hot environment for about 4 hours. So, if the milk wasn't previously frozen (like if I pumped it within the last couple of days and it's just been in the fridge), and DD doesn't finish it, can I put it back in the fridge?

Thanks!

Yes, you can save the leftover for the next feeding. I'd only save it once though, so if she doesn't finish it the second time, I probably would dump it.

yup! Also, the best advice I got was to just smell it. It's milk-- just like cow's milk. Formula is chemically altered, so the special rules make sense; but for bm just sniff.
