Mourning the loss of my Ergo

Thread Starter
I'm selling it on Craigslist. I've posted before about it no longer being comfortable carrying DD Back pains, neck hurts, etc. This really makes me sad. I haven't carried her in it in maybe 2-3 months and I miss carrying her so much! As I prepare for my end of summer cleaning, it's one of the many things I'm selling on craigslist. There isn't a way I can bronze by Ergo? Just kidding.

I love my ergo too but it is not comfortable with my second child who is really heavy. A lot of people are getting the boba instead because has a better design.

I know –*I felt kind of sad when I recently loaned mine to a friend because two-year-old DS refuses to be worn anymore

Awww, a mama after my own heart! I hadn't thought about my great aunt's bronzed baby shoes in forever, but if there was a way I could bronze my wraps I *totally* would. Can you imagine THAT on your mantle?

It's always hard for me to sell baby carriers that we aren't using anymore, even though I do have others still. I think you should choose your favorite picture of your DD in the Ergo and have it framed. Preserve the memories of those tender, sweet moments.

Every time I sell an item I feel that way. The co-sleeper, the slings, double stroller, even the cloth diapers. Just the other day I was thinking about how I wished I'd kept just one of the newborn prefolds. Our house is too small to hold on to every item that has good memories, but sometimes I fear that the memories will be somehow diminished if the "thing" is gone.
