In the constant quest to get more fiber in my diet, I have started putting rice bran on my hot cereal (which is amaranth and quinoa). I have bought two different brands:

Energ-G: 19g of fiber per 67g. Ingredients: stabilized rice bran
NOW: 2g of fiber per 15g. Ingredients: 100% rice bran

I'm not good at math, but DH says the Ener-G has almost twice as much fiber. So what gives, if they are both rice bran and nothing else? Shouldn't the fiber be equal?

Oh, I cannot have gluten (DS can't have it) so I can't get more fiber that way. Also cannot have soy, nuts, flax.

Thanks!
