Does the "Belly Bandit" work?

Last week my hubby saw a section on one of the morning shows about one of those belly bands for post pregnancy. He said they were all saying it worked to help tighten up that post preggo belly as well as reducing the stretch marks.
I don't think this was one of those belly bands that let you wear your regular pants or helps keep bigger pants up, it is a band made specifically for POST pregnancy flab. Something like www.bellybandit.com

Has anyone tried one of these? Is it just another trend or do you feel it really helped?

I am due in Sept with our first and I do plan on going back to Weight Watchers to lose the baby weight and have a healthy diet, but I figured any little bit might help?

Yes, they work. I've heard from many ppl that have used them that their tummies shrunk more w/as opposed to when they didn't use it w/other babies. I've only had one, though, so I have no comparison and still have a tummy. I have another version that I bought from amazon, some ppl will even just wrap an ace bandage around them. I need to start wearing mine again and am wondering if it'll still help 4mo pp. Surprised no one has commented(?) I've seen many threads in the past with testimonials.

Thanks so much for your reply Yippie! Good to know there are some things that we can do to give the tummy shrinking a little boost. :-)

Here is a review a friend did on her blog about belly binding (she recommends it and compares a couple pregnancies)

I used it and felt like, compared to my first pg, my belly shrunk faster.
