Cankles!

You've gotta laugh...or else you'll cry. I talked DH into rubbing mine for altogether too short of a session last night, but it was heavenly while it lasted.

I present one of mine in full rashy effect! Be glad I just took this with my phone and not one where you could actually see the hives very well. Leprocy (sp?) is not attractive...

CANKLE!

ssssssSEXY!

(Mine look about the same, btw, minus the pretty polish and the PUPPS I spent way too much time out in the heat working yesterday, and last night they were big! Today I'm gonna sit me down and eat a massive amount of watermelon....always seems to clear it up by the next day!)

Oooohhhh yeah! Mine are nowhere near that bad THIS pregnancy. But mine with DD1 would put those to SHAME. So sad that those pics were eaten by one hard drive crash or another...

I have teeny tiny ankles to begin with, so no one believes me when I say they are swollen. But I can *feel* the tightness up into my calves most days lately, and I gained about 10lbs in 3 weeks. So I know it is there.

The good news is that a couple weeks after delivery, your formerly sexy ankles will have returned!! (After peeing and sweating buckets, but that's another thread )

wish I could see this pic at work because I am totally in the cankle club. I do not normally have cute tiny ankles so this makes me feel even schlubbier. I will make a note to check this out when I get home just to commiserate further.

P.S. I have to beg my dh to rub my feet for even a moment. and he hates lotion and won't use it so it doesn't feel that great when he does it anyways. :out::

I had cankles for the first time last night. We went geocaching and hiking along the trails (plus walking the labyrinth at the park) made them pretty swollen once I was done.

I had them pretty much constantly my first pregnancy. You could push on my leg and it'd leave an imprint.

I have been pretty lucky for the most part, but those are the result of working very long days this week. They are down a bit this morning, thank goodness!

I had a friend who had her baby in December and she had many, many days when her toes didn't even touch the ground! YIKES!

But even though I feel lucky that mine aren't too bad, I will not be sad to seem them go! Also, the hive scarring? It doesn't itch too bad there, but it is UGLY. Oh well...

Ah hah! This! I was hurting so bad the other day, swollen feet, splitting apart pelvis. I thought, a bath would be perfect... But my belly wouldn't go anywhere near the water unless I turned on my side and then I felt stuck and ended up like that until right before I got out. So much for a relaxing bath...

Proud member of the cankle club as well! And I normally have pretty big ankles, so it looks like I'm rivaling an elephant right now! (As long as I don't share their gestational period...)
