I'm hoping to get some advice. I went in for a routine physical and my bloodwork came back showing my white cell count to be a little low. I guess "normal" is 4.5-10 and mine was 3.7. The doc. said that it's not unusual for someone to fall just a little outside of the "norm" on the low or high range and that be normal for them, but he said since I looked worried, it would be acceptable to refer me to a hemotologist to make sure everything was alright. He did retest me and I found out today that it was up to 4.3. I asked if he still wanted me to go to the hemotologist and he does still want me to go.
Of course I come home and googled it and worry myself sick!
I've had headaches over the last week and I never get headaches so now I'm thinking there's a connection and that worries me more.
I see the Hemotologist in a couple weeks but until then, it's hard not to worry. I rarely get sick, and am active, but I am tired all the time because I have 5 children and 3 of them are 4 and under. I not a great sleeper so it makes sense that I'd be tired. Otherwise, everything seems fine I think??
Does anyone know anything about this or have words of advice (besides not to worry
) ? Thanks
