There are a lot of diets that fall under the "raw" catagory.
Some advocate raw meat, bones, and veggies, some add in cooked rice, others believe that well-cooked veggies should be fed, and still others advocate no veggies.
We started with homemade, cooked foods, but after thinking about the kinds of foods a dog would eat in the wild, I stopped cooking and went with raw meat & veggies only, skipping grains entirely.
Then I read something that pointed out that dogs eat every part of a kill, including the contents of an animal's stomach which would likely include partially digested veggies. I don't often give my dogs veggies now, but when I do, I cook them first. Mostly, they get raw meat, bones and organs with an occasional meal of raw eggs/cooked veggies.
If you go to yahoogroups or a similar listserv and plug in "raw feeding", you'll get lots of resources and info.
