has anyone that has been on the Nuva Ring had extremely bad headaches as a symptom and if so did they go away?

I put the Nuva Ring in on Tuesday since then i have been experiencing extremely bad headaches that have even woken me up in the morning and headache medicine doesn't work to cure them...

I had minor headaches and major nausea the first week or so on NuvaRing when I first started using it and again when I resumed use after a few months off. After that it was great and my only side effect was a minor increase in vaginal discharge, unlike the formulation of the pill I tried after my insurance quit covering the NuvaRing, which left me a weepy mess with breakthrough spotting every day. It's amazing how the different synthetic hormones affect different people.
