What about healthcare providers for a dentist?

I am assuming my ds teeth surgery will be at a hospital...but, it could very well be done at the dentist, kwim? It is a dentist that specializes in children teeth....so, I find comfort in that...I am hoping they are also have some knowledge on the intact penis!!! LOL

I have SO many questions to ask this dentist!!!!!!

I'm not sure I understand your question, but dental surgery doesn't involve catheterization, so your boy's intactness should not come up at all.

We try to stay above the neck .... :LOL

how does the dental work have to do with his intactness??

I am assuming if he receives general anesthesia he would possibly need a catheter? I know I did when I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled.

I posted in Dental RE: "Help! Toddler Surgery?" too!

My ds was born without any enamel on his front teeth and now they have become infected.

This isn't exactly dental, but I read in Romberg's book about a man who had his tonsils removed as an adult and woke up to find he had also been circed. The surgeon said he just happened to notice he hadn't been circed, and wanted to "give him a freebie."

So it may be a good idea for any medical professional who may see your child undressed to know that he is to stick to the problem at hand!

Somewhere in the book, another man recommends that anytime your child is admitted to a hospital, you should write "no circ" on every form they ask you to sign.

HOW SICK IS THAT! What kind of doctors are we allowing to treat our children!!!!! This is clearly a violation of privacy I am outraged!!! My uncle had the same thing happen, but he was only 3 at the time. Making that the 50's. My grandmother cried for years. So says my mom. My Keegan has the most perfect penis in the world Funny now that I think about it I never really looked at it until we had been home a while. Why are people so obsessed with what our bodies look like?: The more natural the better SIMPLIFY YOUR LIFE FOR TRUE HAPPINESS

Why should he be catherized? Have him wear a diaper. There should not be a need to catherize.

DS had work done two weeks ago and it was a non-issue. I honestly never thought about that. I only ever had a cath. when I had my c-section and I've been under a LOT of GA in my life (including my wisdom teeth)!
